Great Tafsirs is a non-profit application dedicated to the study of the Holy Qur’an. It offers users worldwide seamless access to an extensive database of Qur’anic Commentary (Tafsir) authored by renowned Sunni, Shi’ite, and Sufi scholars in the Islamic world, including Al-Zamakhshiri, Al-Tabari, Al-Qurtubi, Al-Razi, and Ibn Kathir. The application encompasses the teachings of the seven major Islamic schools (madhabs): Shafi’i, Hanafi, Maliki, Hanbali, Ja’afari, Zeidi, and Ibadhi. Not aligning with a specific school, Great Tafsirs aims to present a comprehensive collection of scholarly materials without bias, allowing users the freedom to explore various perspectives at their discretion.

In addition to an array of Qur’anic interpretations, Great Tafsirs offers access to numerous translations, recitations, and supplementary resources on meanings, syntax, and reasons for revelation. A sophisticated user-friendly search engine is also provided, empowering users to efficiently locate specific words and passages within the Qur’an.
